Name: Jonathan Country: United States State: Texas Metro: Corpus Christi Birthday: 1/4/1982
Interests: I am intrested in seeing an extraordinary God move in the lives of ordinary people. To enjoy my relationship with my Lord Jesus and to encourage others to do the same. To engage the help of the Holy Spirit to close the dissonance between what we believe to be best for our lives, and what God created our lives to be. In finality to see people come to know that they can do nothing better with thier lives than to glorify God, and derive pleasure from seeing Him move in very big and very real ways. To know that God's will and our desires are not mutually exclusive, and that His sovreignty is not based on our faith as a requisite to its validity. To appreciate God's truth, and to live a life that would reflect my understanding of it, is what I am intrested in. Expertise: I tend to have a knack for good fellowship, I enjoy my friends and I believe God gives me the ability many times to touch the lives of others, which is a tremendous blessing. I play a little guitar, I am also a pretty big movie buff, and tend to take things too seriously except when I am not taking it seriously at all. Yeah thats always fun. | My friends, In light of Matt's leaving I felt compelled to write. If there was a list of things that represented what I believed to have the least possibility of happening, Matt Hudson's absence in the fall would have been first on it. It is unfortunate that friends and mentors can not be with us at all times, as i wish they could be, but for these things also, we have the Lord.
I wish to say that I care for each one of you guys. From the past generation, to the new one, to those off in ministry, to those on the homefront, in dallas, kingsville, premont or corpus, or the valley, I miss you.
It is seemingly transient how for some of the activities the BSM was apart of at the tail end of the Spring, was done so without Matt, as if God took the initiative through each of us in each other to progress the ministry.
I will remember when I am grieved at heart, that we still have each other, and more importantly, God is still sovereighn. I will not worry, it was God's initiative to allow us to grow, and allow the BSM a chance to really glorify Him, I believe He will continue to do so if we are willing. It was my intention to not be so much inolved from here on out, but I believe God has made a testement of His glory in the BSM, and i wish to see it through as long as God would have me to. If the BSM is important to you, maybe we can start getting ideas together, lead team or non lead team, and see this oppurtuity to come together and draw strength from one another to be a testement of God's glory in the midst of Matt's absence.
I am in constant prayer for you guys, thank you for letting me truly say the God has blessed me with outstanding Christ-pursuing friends. Marty, Greg, Stephen, Justin, Nick, Colby, Richard, Amy, Lisa, Angela, Sunday, God has entrusted us to work together for His glory through the BSM if we continue to choose to. John, Dave, Joey, Cosuey, Andrew, Snarf, Bobbo, ERD, Deb, Jacob, Ang, Wagster, Marie, I miss you guys. My heart aches every time i am unable to spend time with you. Please be in prayer over the condition of the BSM, for the preperation of our hearts and minds to what God will do, to the welcoming of the new director, and for each other.
If you guys need anything, call me, Lead Team members, please email your ideas to each other, so that we may be ready for God's incentive.
remember: God does not cause all things, He causes all things to work for the good of those who love HIM, and for HIS own glorification. Later on. | | |
| Hey guys. I just wanted to let everybody know that it is very special to see people who care enough to check up on me and ask me to give them some insight into my life (or post something). Thank you for that.
A new semester has dawned, I dont have much of a load but it will help me a great deal. I got to see some of you during the break, for those of you I did not I hope that you had a very Merry CHRISTmas and a happy new year. For those that did not know I am a year older as of Jan. 4th. I look forward in my new 24th year to seeing what GOD will continue to do with the work He started in the fall last semester on campus.
For those of you on lead team I would encourage you to continue to submit you scheduals to Mr. Hudson so we can get some ideas going.
For you freshman (Angela and Sunday), thank you for coming back, please pray that God will bless you with new lives as He did to us with your lives.
Nick, thank you for taking the initiative to make sure the BSM still has a ground keeper. Jacob I miss you. John thank you for your call. I am confident that Nick will be vigilant in keeping up the good work that both of you took part in.
For those of you who continue to pursue God's work here at the BSM and your own lives it is a pleasure to be apart of this semester with you. The time with you is truly cherished. For those of you who are affiliated with the local Church, thank you for the time you do have that is vested in the BSM. Please continue to bless us with your prayers and your fellowship.
For old freinds and new faces. Have a good one and let me know if there is anything you need.
Later on.

| Hey guys, I was talking to some very special people at the BSM today, which will remain nameless (Nick,Sunday,Angela,) and these special people encouraged me to post once in a while. Today was excellent, me and Jacob knocked out the New testament test. I mean..I read Jacob the questions and we awnswered individualy...yeah. Anyway it is good to know that my only test is out of the way. My prayers to you guys who still have testing. Especially you engineers. So it is late, and I am not tired but i need to try and sleep so I will get some sleep. John Smith I apologize, I was in a movie when you called and it was too late by the time we got out, I will speak to you soon Mr. Montenga.
It is good to see new faces at the BSM and on the blog ring, I pray that God will continually bless us with more lives we can be involved in and glorify Him with.
The girls are doing fantastic with the Christmas party preparations, I have full confidence that It will be a blast. If you wish to be involved with planning and preparing for the Christmas party on DEC. 8th (thursday) please see Sunday or Angela.
With that I leave, thank you to the very special people who will remain nameless (Nick,Sunday,Angela,) that encouraged me to do this.

| Okay Guys, I just got out of work and read both Ricahrd and John's post and I moved to speak thus. These are times it seems that GOD brings us together only to see us seperate indefinately. I will surely miss Joey, and John, probaby just as much as I already miss Dave, RD, Chris, James, Angela, Marie, Debbie,Wendy and even Bobby whom I just met. However, I take joy in knowing that we share the same Father, and in Him we are never seperated. There will be a time when all of us must follow GOD to perhaps a different path than the one we have shared together, but I beleive the freindships I have made with these men and women to be everlasting. These freinds that have allowed me to share in thier lives, in which GOD has graciously worked through to make me closer to Him. It is GOD that brought us together, and essentialy it is He who dictates where each of us end up individualy. I hope that the younger generation of TAMUK BSMr's will recognize the value of fellowship in the body of Christ, and in that will see by the previous generation how GOD was able to do a mighty work in people who simply share a freindship collectively and individualy. I will not say goodbye, because I believe GOD will be glorified with the continuity He has alowed me to share with all of you. In that I will say Justin Daily and Marty are working on some video, the cd's are almost finished, and and we will keep you close and posted in correlation to what GOD is doing and how you have and are still contributing to His mighty work here.
